You're here because the weight of carrying all of the emotional baggage—yours & everyone else’s—is just too much to bear alone.

That is about to change.

You’re in the right spot.

Virtual Therapy

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that progress comes from healing the root, not just managing the symptoms.

“Healing the root” means we first will explore how the patterns you have right now developed earlier in life as a way to help you, but are no longer as helpful as what they once were. I’ll show you how to start paying more attention to the parts of yourself that have been pushed to the side for so long. From this new platform of feeling deeply seen and valued, you will begin to think differently about yourself…and from there, new ways of doing things will emerge that align with a life of more ease and joy!

I will teach you some “traditional” therapy tools to help you, but I also incorporate “non-traditional” tools to help get you to living the life you want faster! Depending on what interests you, this might include ways to understand how you emotional energy impacts what you attract to you (known as The Law of Attraction or manifesting), and also ways you can experience an authentic spiritual connection (not religious) by using tools like tarot cards, meditation, and journaling to tune into unconditional support & guidance.

If attachment wounds caused us to have limiting beliefs about ourselves, then corrective compassionate experiences can help heal them.

HEre’s what I believe about therapy:

This isn't about something being “wrong” with you.

Any pattern or behavior you have stems from a desire to feel safe and loved. You are just in a place now of needing to upgrading your system to better-feeling beliefs and behaviors.

The best investment you can make is in yourself.

The way that you feel about yourself literally influences every aspect of your life: your job, your relationships, your health. Investing in yourself alters how you show up, so you can expect improvement in all of these areas!

You are inherently deserving of healthy, loving relationships.

You deserve them and they are possible for you, even if you haven’t experienced enough of them before. I’ll help you find your way to believing this.

The Twists & Turns of My Own Journey:

Here's me in a nutshell: I am compassionate, great at linking things together that you might not see as connected, and am very spiritually-minded, but I also swear a lot and use humor.

If that intrigues you, keep reading.

We are all on a journey to find joy and peace in as many ways as we can, and in order to find these, we must often explore deeper understandings of ourselves and others. I first noticed that my journey was leading me to help others during my adolescence, when peers would often seek me for guidance or support. Because of my own experiences with feeling lonely, this role became important to me, as I didn't want others to feel alone in their struggles.

My career as a psychotherapist began while working in a residential treatment facility for youth for nine years. I learned so much during this time about how trauma can impact someone emotionally, physically, and spiritually, and the many ways this can show up in daily lives.

The next phase of my career led me to working in an outpatient counseling agency for five years, where I enjoyed working with children, adolescents and adults. During this time in my life, I also found myself awakening spiritually, which was drastically different than the religious upbringing I had as a child. I began to be able to sense the energy of others, both in this realm and in spirit, and learned to "tap into" guidance from a Greater Loving Source. I was also trained in a form of energy-healing called Reconnective Healing, which was way out of my comfort zone! These events not only transformed how I saw the world in front of me, but also gave me new tools to share with my clients that were open to experiencing things outside of traditional talk-therapy.

From there, I eventually started my own private practice to allow me more of the freedom to incorporate these non-traditional techniques to help my clients in their journey toward healing and greater self-discovery.

It is my belief that by first understanding where our negative beliefs about ourselves originate from, we can then provide deep compassion and understanding for the parts of us that have been yearning for these. We can then apply things like the Law of Attraction and Spiritual Connection tools to help us move along our healing journey at a more rapid pace.

  • My traditional skill set stems from incorporating:

🟡 Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (which helps link our thoughts, feelings and behavior)

🟡 Attachment-Based theories like Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems (which help us understand the roots of our beliefs about ourselves, and the role these beliefs play in relationship to others)

What may set me apart from other therapists is that I also incorporate non-traditional skills such as:

🟣 Understanding the Law of Attraction, how it is impacting their lives, and how to shift what you are attracting to you

🟣 How to connect with Spiritual Guidance from a Greater Loving Source for “Spiritual Reparenting”

🟣 The Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as "Tapping", to use the mind-body connection to release feelings or beliefs that impede our physical and mental health)
